Post cards from the Northern Territory.

We raced ahead to get to Alice Springs and the Red Centre and along the way we found some great little spots. Internet range is almost non existent out here so my up dates have been slow and far between. I have kept up with my paparazzi exploits so you can follow our journey thus far.

WE stopped in Limmen NP some where for some lunch, getting sick of the croc warnings, think this will be our last!

Once out of Limmen we stopped at a great spot in Roper Bar. A hot shower, a great fire and good food, we were ready to turn in and get back on the road..again!
After James got the tyre replaced in Tennant Creek, we went to see the Pebbles, sacred to the women in the area, men are invited only!

Because I am Woman, I spotted this guy, I showed Daniel and because he is only Man, it ran away!!
Driving through burn off and bull dust to the davenport ranges. Tennant Creek.
Whistle Duck Creek.

Celebrating Chrissa's 50th, Cheers mate! XX
New day, new place. Old police station and what a beauty! Once we moved on the pesky brown snake, we had it to ourselves and it was great to relax for an afternoon.

Another beautiful sunset.
Believe it or not but we had a flat, so we crossed our fingers and hopped the spare would get us through some very rough road to Alice Springs where james could change it..this was becoming a habit. I think James has seen more of the inside of out tyre joints than any one!! No pictures of Alice, it's an odd town. Lots to offer in the early part of the day, but by around 1.30, you might want to be some where else. Dan went to the reptile park and had a blast, I stocked up the stores at woolies, [hadn't seen one of those for a while], and james sorted out tyres!! Alice, a very sad and dangerous place. Our next stop, some where in the Macdonnell ranges.
